Lesson Rates

Gretchen believes that high quality music lessons should still be reasonably priced, and so she offers some of the most competitive rates in the Crofton, Bowie, Millersville and Gambrills area and beyond.

Standard Rate:  Lessons, either in person of on Skype, are $30 for half an hour or $55 for an hour.  Most students take weekly half hour lessons.

Multi-Child Family Discount:  The first child is $30 per half hour weekly lesson.  Additional children are $25 per half hour, scheduled in the same block.

Homeschool/Daytime Discount:  Lesson blocks scheduled before 2:00 pm September through May are $28 per half hour for the first half hour.

Senior Citizen 65+ and Skype Special: Lessons are $28 per half hour for the first half hour.

Discounts do not stack.  For example, you may either take a daytime discount OR a multi-child discount, not both.

Studio Hours

The studio is open by appointment:

Monday to Thursday 2:00 to 7:30 pm

Monday and Thursday before 2:00 pm

Late Arrival Policy

Please strive to arrive to your lesson on time or early.  If you arrive before your lesson time, you may let either yourself into the waiting room or supervise your children outside.  If you are for any reason late, you may always take the remainder of your lesson, but your lesson will end promptly at the end of your lesson slot.

Missed Lesson Policy

You are only charged for scheduled lessons, not on a monthly basis, but please let Gretchen know about planned trips as early as possible.  Lessons must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged--but Gretchen realizes that unforeseen instances occur, so once a year, you can use a "free pass" for a lesson that was missed when 24-hour cancellation isn't possible. 

Make-Up Lessons

You may schedule a make-up lesson when you aren't able to make your regular lesson time.  The price is the same as your regular rate.
